When you receive one of our gifted experiences, you'll enjoy a complimentary session that is valued at $250, as well as an 11x14" fine art print on matted board that is valued at $1000.

To book your gifted experience, we kindly ask for a fully refundable reservation fee of $250. We value your time and ours, and this helps prevent any no-shows or last-minute cancellations.

Your experience with us includes a private photography session with our skilled photographers followed by a private viewing session with our designers for you to see the beautiful images from your session.

You will work with your designer to categorize your images from your most favorite to least favorite. Don't worry we're not deleting anything here!

Following that, you will be given the option to either choose one image to be produced into an 11x14” fine art print on matted board or create a bespoke artwork for your home.

If you choose to create something special for your home, your qualified designer will guide you through the best display options for the images you love and work with the space you have in your home. For any wall art order you place with us, your $1000 credit will be applied to your purchase.

We have many payment options available, and they will be offered to you to make the decision-making process easier.

We are delighted to accommodate families with up to 12 members in our studios, ensuring that everyone feels comfortable and at ease during the session.

FAIRY
Our Magical Garden Fairy set is child sized and so it can accommodate up to 4 children but no adults.

We understand that choosing the right images for your home can be a difficult decision, and we want you to feel completely comfortable when it comes to placing an order with us.

If you have been gifted an experience that comes with an 11X14” artwork, then you can simply select your single image and we’ll turn it into a ready-to-frame portrait print.

If you wish to use your gift as a $1000 artwork credit, then you can simply work with your designer to create the perfect piece for your home and apply the $1000 credit toward your order.

Of course, there's no obligation to purchase any additional images from us, but if you do decide to make a purchase, our designer is here to help.

We will hold onto your images for 5 days before we have to remove them from our server. Any images you order including your gifted image will be kept forever.

We are not a digital portrait studio - we do not sell digital files, CDs, or USBs.

We’ve been creating custom handcrafted artwork since 2009, and it’s our legacy to help you create and display your cherished memories in your home. We take great care in our production process, but there may be instances where errors occur or the artwork is damaged during delivery.

In the unlikely event that this happens, there's no need to worry. We have a straightforward and hassle-free solution for redoing or replacing your artwork. Just send an email to hello@vitabrevisfineart.com, and we'll take care of the rest.

We specialize in creating two different finishes for our family portraits - Fine Art and Masterpiece.

Our Fine Art portraits are photographed on our gray background and finished with beautiful but minimal artistry to make you look your best. Fine Art prints are a high quality print on matted board to keep your portraits from sagging in your frame over the years. If you’ve received a certificate with us, your 11x14” fine art print will be finished with our Fine Art Finish.

Our Masterpiece portraits are photographed on the same gray background but then are hand-painted from corner to corner with a painted blue background. Black Label Masterpiece portraits are created like Old Master style portraits but finished with modern art techniques. Meaning that our artist digitally paints every brush stroke on your portrait from eyelashes to hair to clothes to background prior to being printed on museum quality canvas.

When your portraits are shipped to you, we will include a How to Care for your Portrait Guide in that email to help you preserve the quality of your portraits for years to come.

COMPETITIONS

Eligibility: Entry is open only to persons 18 years and over who are residents of Colorado and have not won a competition, prize, or received a promotional item with Vita Brevis Fine Art in the last 24 months. The Campaign is only open to legal residents of the United States and is void where prohibited by law. Employees of Vita Brevis Fine Art, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and suppliers (collectively the “Employees”), and immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of Employees are not eligible to participate in the Campaign. The Campaign is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited.

GIFT CERTIFICATES

Must be redeemed by the holder before the expiration date, provided the holder has not redeemed a Competition Prize or Gift Certificate with Vita Brevis Fine Art in the last 24 months (date calculated from the previous sitting date). Prizes are for studio portraiture and cannot be used for other types of photography. One certificate per household. Certificates cannot be combined with any other offer. Framing not included.

TRANSFERABILITY

Prize Certificates and Gift Certificates are Non-Transferable. They are not exchangeable or redeemable in whole or in part for any cash equivalent. The prize certificates and gift certificates cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, prize, or promotion. Only one (1) prize certificate or gift certificate can be used at a time. You cannot use the prize certificate or gift certificate to purchase products from any other portrait sessions or toward framing.

SOCIAL MEDIA COMPETITIONS

By entering our social media competitions, the entrant acknowledges that the promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, or other platforms in any way.

ARTISTIC CONTROL

Vita Brevis Fine Art reserves artistic control over the design and content of each session. Therefore, at our discretion, we may decline to create certain types or styles of portraits. In addition, we reserve the right to refuse to produce images of some sizes or combinations of sizes if we believe such portraits would or could be detrimental to our reputation as a professional studio or as professional photographers. Clients should discuss their requirements with the studio before the session.

REFUSAL OF SERVICE

Vita Brevis Fine Art reserves the right to refuse service if, in our opinion, the provision of service is likely to cause or has caused disruption to either staff members or the regular operation of the studio.

NO-SHOW POLICY

Non-attendance (no-show) at an appointment without notice will result in the forfeiture of the holding fee/reservation fee. The Gift Certificate or Prize Certificate is then deemed to have been used in full.

COPYRIGHT

Unrestricted Copyright to all images created during the portrait session that forms part of the Gift Certificate or Prize Certificate is deemed to belong solely to Vita Brevis Fine Art.

PORTRAIT ORDER REFUNDS

We are not required to provide a refund or replacement if you change your mind (buyer's remorse) after the ordering appointment. However, Vita Brevis Fine Art stands behind our work. If you are not fully satisfied with our portrait(s), please refer to our policy on your signed order invoice. Depending on the type of session, replacement portraits and additional studio credit may be awarded (as is deemed necessary by the staff and client).

We block out our studio and staff for two hours for every appointment; this is why we collect a $250 session reservation fee for all portrait sessions.

This policy is to ensure that we are booking serious and committed clients. The fee is fully refundable on the day of your session as long as you show up for your appointment.

Your reservation fee will be refunded in full unless you:
Reschedule your session more than once.
Do not show up for your scheduled session.
Apply your reservation fee to your portrait order.
Cancel or reschedule your appointment less than one week in advance (see below).

One Week Cancellation Policy:
Any cancellation or rescheduling request must be made more than one week from the session day.
Any cancellation or no-show less than one week before your scheduled session will result in the loss of your reservation fee.
Any rescheduled session less than one week before your scheduled session will become a print credit towards your portrait order, regardless of sickness, injury, or other life events.

Vita Brevis Fine Art experiences are valid for 60 days from the date you receive them.
